  • Motorhome or Tow Vehicle Mounted

Most people prefer to have their tow bar mounted on the RV. This keeps your tow vehicle free from clunky equipment and maintains an uncluttered appearance when not being towed Three tow bars in this series – the Sterling Blackhawk 2 , and the Falcon – are available for motorhome mounting. All of these tow bars feature a patented storage latch that when not in use, allows you to simply fold the tow bar towards the vehicle locking it into place. This advantage is known to have saved more than a couple of shins!

  • Tow Vehicle Weight

The amount of weight you plan to tow is something to consider when purchasing your tow bar. Most RVers find that a 6,000 pound weight capacity tow bar will more than meet their needs. All of the tow bars in the All Terrain series are suitable to pull up to three tons. However, for those of you with a heavy duty vehicle (such as Suburbans, Excursions, and full size pickups) the Blackhawk 2 All Terrain with a carrying capacity of 10,000 pounds, is the right tow bar for you.

  • Non-Binding Technology

All Roadmaster All Terrain tow bars come equipped with Roadmaster’s exclusive Freedom Latch . This unique design allows the inner arms of the tow bar to rotate 360°, eliminating the binding that can happen with a traditional tow bar. Binding occurs due to excessive pressure placed upon the tow bar, making it difficult to detach – all tow bars in this series offer you easy release of your tow bar without the hassle. Never again will you have to straighten and align your motorhome and tow vehicle to release your tow bar. Watch the YouTube video below to see just how easy it is!

Quick Disconnect

The All Terrain series features tow bars with quick disconnect components for attaching the tow bar to the bracket. This allows for ‘one person’ fast and easy mounting or removal of your tow bar.
